Vaccinations are considered the basis of healthcare. Nevertheless, numerous vaccinations for adults in particular are not covered by health insurance, even if they are expressly recommended in the Austrian immunisation schedule – including the vaccination against shingles. Many experts, stakeholders and politicians are in favour of changing this regulation and thus promoting prevention. accelent is providing a platform for these efforts with the ‘Vaccination for all’ campaign and has designed arguments, a website, media appearances, stakeholder contacts and videos, social media campaigns and publications.
